Meet Dr. Clemow & His Staff

Dr. Justin Clemow, DMD, MD, FACS

Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Justin B. Clemow DMD, MD, FACS grew up in Connecticut and moved to Ohio after residency in 2013. He has been with North Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 2017 and loves working in this area because of the relaxed atmosphere and honest people. When he is not here in the office, Dr. Clemow is an active staff surgeon at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland where he is a clinical assistant professor for the Case Western Reserve OMFS residency. His main focus in the office is wisdom tooth extraction, complex bone grafting, dental implants, and IV sedation. In the hospital he provides expertise in obstructive sleep apnea surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Clemow lectures locally and nationally on topics including sleep apnea surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and facial reconstruction.

Dr. Clemow’s personal interests include outdoor activities, athletics, grilling/smoking food, and spending time with his wife and two adorable children!

Dr. John Helmkamp, DDS

Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

John A. Helmkamp, DDS grew up in Akron, Ohio. He stayed in state for college and dental school, and has been an invaluable asset to North Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1999. He has extensive experience in extraction of wisdom teeth, bone grafting, dental implants, and in-office anesthesia. Dr. Helmkamp lives in the area, and he enjoys bike riding, golf, gardening, and watching Ohio State Football dominate!
